Kayn and Able

Vulture Kayn is a primordial angel that reincarnates upon each death, and in each life he forgets his past, When he finally comes to learn of who he was and finds his purpose. Mama Able is a primordial demon, born the same time as the Angel Kayn. Every time she dies, she reincarnates with full memory but is reborn the last age she died as. She can only die by the hand of Kayn, and Kayn was the one who started the lifelong feud between Angels and Demons. 

Mama Able deceived Kayn as children. She told him the dragon Obelisk had desired the heart of a rare Kitsune as an offering. The Kitsune were originally the only two of a kind children of the dragon Lau’fayah and were powerful protectors of the fey beasts. 

Kayn honored Obelisk with the heart of a Kitsune, but the dragon was outraged, cursing the Angel with black wings and a half life of immortal hell. Kayn tried to ask for forgiveness, but Obelisk would not hear it. Kayn was banished from the dragon's sight forever. 

Kayn turned on Able and killed her, his touch cursing her into their immortal hell together as they played an eternal game of cat-and-mouse. It took Able cunning and time to finally end Kayns reign, but was horrified the first time she noticed his blissful reincarnation. His glassy fog faded when his eyes fell upon his twin, cutting her down once again.
